You are not crazy. You are undertested.

An hour for women 40 to 52 who have been told their labs are normal and no longer believe that closes the question. Six markers a standard physical usually skips - and what they say when they are read as a set.

Dr Ana Reis

Vitality Hormone Clinic. Licensed in Texas, Florida and Colorado. Caps at 25 active patients and reads every lab herself.

What the hour covers

The six markers, and what each one is actually measuring

Your physical ran one TSH. These are the six the workup runs instead, drawn on one date so they can be read against each other rather than recalled from different years.

  1. 01

    Full thyroid panel, with antibodies

The axis, not one number from it.

A screening TSH is a single value from a single axis. The full panel reads the axis, and it looks for antibodies that a screening number is not asked to report.

    Kit via Rupa Health.

  2. 02

    Fasting insulin and glucose

Drawn together, read as a pair.

Most physicals return a fasting glucose. Insulin is ordered in the same draw here, because one of those two values does not describe the other.

    Kit via Rupa Health.

  3. 03

    Cortisol rhythm across the day

The shape of the curve, not one point on it.

Collected at several points across a single day rather than once in the morning, so what is visible is a rhythm and not a dot.

    Kit via Rupa Health.

  4. 04

    Ferritin

Stored iron, stated as a number.

A standard blood count does not report stored iron. Ferritin is read as its own value against the rest of the panel, on the same date.

    Kit via Rupa Health.

  5. 05

    Vitamin D

On the same page, on the same date.

Ordered with the others so it can be read alongside them rather than recalled from a result taken in a different year.

    Kit via Rupa Health.

  6. 06

    DUTCH clearance testing

    Added when cycles are irregular.

A clearance test reads how hormones are processed, not only what is present in a single draw. It is added to the workup when cycles are irregular.

    Kit via Precision Analytical.

The recording is chaptered, so you can watch it in pieces. Most women take two or three sittings.

Chapter three

Why nothing has worked yet

Four serious attempts, and one structural reason all four failed. Every one of them intervened before anything was measured - which is a sequencing problem, not a verdict on your discipline.

  1. 01

    Keto and fasting

Effort applied ahead of a measurement, with nothing to check it against and no way to correct it when it stalled.

  2. 02

    The antidepressant

Aimed at mood, and prescribed without the rest of the panel in front of anyone.

  3. 03

    The gym

Load added to a system nobody had measured, then quietly filed under a failure of discipline.

  4. 04

    The supplements

Months of bottles with no test behind them, so nothing could be confirmed and nothing could be corrected.

A pattern cannot be treated before it has been read.

The mechanism

One string on the piano

A screening TSH is one number from one axis. It was checked, it was in tune, and the conclusion drawn was that the whole instrument is fine.

Your labs being normal is where this conversation starts, not where it ends.

What the physical ran

TSH

One value. One axis.

Reported: within range

A screening panel answers whether any single value sits outside the population range.

What it did not

  • 01Full thyroid panel, with antibodies
  • 02Fasting insulin and glucose
  • 03Cortisol rhythm across the day
  • 04Ferritin
  • 05Vitamin D
  • 06DUTCH clearance testingwhen cycles are irregular
Six markers, drawn on one date and read as a set. Treat the pattern, not the panel.

Who the hour is for

Worth an hour of your evening, or worth skipping

Disqualifying openly is the most credible thing this practice does, so it happens here rather than at minute fifty-eight.

Watch this if

  1. 01You are 40 to 52, and something changed that effort has stopped fixing.
  2. 02You have been told your labs are normal - more than once - and you no longer believe that closes the question.
  3. 03You have already tried at least one serious thing that did not work, and quietly blamed yourself for it.
  4. 04You live in Texas, Florida or Colorado, and telehealth suits how your week runs.

This is not for

  1. 01Anyone outside Texas, Florida or Colorado - Dr Ana holds licences in those three states only.
  2. 02Anyone who wants a prescription this week. Nothing is prescribed before the workup is read.
  3. 03Anyone unwilling to spend the first two weeks testing before a protocol begins.

If one of these is you, the appointment checklist is still free and still worth having at your next physical.

Before you sign up

The questions worth asking first

If a question here changes your mind about watching, that is the answer doing its job.

Is this a sales pitch with a class in front of it?
There is one call to action, in the last nine minutes, and it is a free 20-minute assessment whose stated job is to tell you honestly whether this looks like a testing problem. The other fifty-one minutes are the panel, the reasoning and the published standard.
I do not live in Texas, Florida or Colorado.
Then Dr Ana cannot take you as a patient - those are the three states she is licensed in. The hour is still worth watching, because the panel is the panel wherever you live and the checklist is written so you can ask your own physician for it by name.
Do I need lab results before I watch?
No. Bring them if you have them, because the class will tell you what was and was not on them. If you have nothing, that is also useful information about your last three years of appointments.
What do you do with my information?
You give a first name, an email address and a state. Nothing on this form is protected health information, and no symptom or medical detail is collected here. You get the class link and a five-day course on the markers. One click unsubscribes.
If I go further than the class, what does it cost?
The 12-week program is $4,800, or three payments of $1,700. There is also a smaller way in - the workup on its own, with the written read of your results, credited against the program if you continue within thirty days. Both are explained on the assessment call, and neither is sold during the class.
How long is it, really?
Sixty minutes, in six chapters, already recorded. Most women watch it across two or three sittings. If you have fifteen minutes, chapter three is the one that matters most.

Sixty minutes, and nothing sold in them.

It is already recorded. The link does not expire, and there is no countdown on this page for the same reason there is no countdown in the hour.
